Rules

  1. Rules may be modified with full consent of all people affected
  2. An event will be a series of games, format of which shall be decided prior to commencment (league, round robin, knock out etc) usually played on one day
  3. Games will be between individuals in the form of fastest response questions (a la University Challenge starters)
  4. All games first to fifteen points
  5. All correct answers worth two points
  6. All incorrect interuptions minus one point
  7. The questionmaster is the referee
  8. Apart from Rookies, who have the option to have their first game free, it is £10 to play (obligatory if you want to win the money) + Question providing, question asking, scoring and Coitus interruptus spotting (voluntary)
  9. Winner takes all unless decided otherwise prior to competition commencing
  10. Winner gains 1 point handicap for each £100 they win to concede to opponents in subsequent games.
  11. Handicapped players lose 0.1 point from their handicap for each event they have competed in
  12. Question Sources shall be agreed between competitors before their game starts. Questions should ideally be gettable eventually for at least two competitors in any given game. More details on standard reqiured is at "The Perfect Question"
  13. Rookies start with handicap of highest handicapped competitor.
  14. Number of games and format (league, pools or knock out) will be decided prior to commencement of games.
